Privacy policy

JAYPUR KURTI is an online marketplace operated by Laxmi Narayan Traders. Products are sold and shipped by the shop named on each product page (“Sold and shipped by …”).

• Your account: name, email address and mobile number. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form.
• Your orders: delivery addresses, the items you ordered, the payment method, and the order, delivery, return and refund history.
• What you choose to give us: product reviews, your wishlist, back-in-stock alerts and, if you sign up, your email address for the newsletter.
• Shopping activity: product views, items added to the bag and checkout starts are recorded against the product (not your name) to understand which products shoppers like.
• Technical data: sign-in sessions, and your IP address to protect the store against abuse (for example, limiting repeated sign-in attempts).

• To take, deliver and support your orders, including cash on delivery, returns and refunds.
• To send the emails your account needs: verification, password resets and order updates.
• To send the newsletter, only if you signed up for it.
• To keep the store and your account secure, and to prevent fraud.
• To improve the store, using figures added up across shoppers.

• The shop that sells your order: your name, delivery address, phone number and the order details, so it can pack, ship and contact you about delivery.
• Courier partners: the delivery address and phone number needed to deliver.
• Service providers that host the store, store its data and send its emails — and the payment gateway, when you pay online.
• Google and Meta (advertising): only if you accept advertising cookies. They receive browser identifiers and what you viewed or bought (with the order value) — never your name, email address, phone number or address.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

• Necessary: sign-in cookies that keep you signed in. The store does not work without them.
• Kept only in your browser: recently viewed products, your cookie choice, and where your visit came from (for example an ad link), kept for 30 days.
• Advertising cookies (Google, Meta) load only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, when the store uses them.

• Account details: for as long as your account exists.
• Orders and invoices: for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Advertising identifiers from your browser: deleted once sent to Meta (at the latest after 7 days), and the Google Analytics id after 90 days.

• Update your name, phone number, addresses and your marketing email / WhatsApp preferences in My account.
• To see the data we hold about you, correct it, stop the newsletter or delete your account, write to jaypurkurti26@gmail.com. Data that the law requires us to keep (such as invoices) is kept for that period.

The store is served only over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, and card or bank details for online payments are handled by the payment gateway — the store never sees or stores them.
